Increase your Modem Speed

Do u want to increase your modem speed ??

very simple...

first of all check your net speed at www.whatismyip.com
now you know what is your real speed...

• open your device manager
• open the modem properties
• in the Avanced Tab --> Extra initialization commands
• type this AT&FX

for me it gave a 115K speed


If you had a dialup connection then the effective speed still remains the same. What improves by changing initialization commands is a clearer or a more stable connection.

Also AT&FX is supported for LT Winmodem only.
